Negatives: We haven't been here long but the teachers overall don't seem to care as much about the students whose families can't afford to shower them with gifts & donations etc. May just be our experience, not sure.nnConfidential student information is often talked about in front of other staff, teachers & even students, especially in the front lobby. Very inappropriate.nnThe grassy pick-up area for car riders needs shade & rain cover.nnSeveral emails to one teacher were never replied to.nnNot particularly academically challenging in the lower grades.nnPositives: The campus is older but nice. The set up is fun & colorful. Nice playground. Good safety system in place. Most kids will probably like it here & not notice the negatives described above.nnEveryone loves the custodial staff. They're so great with the kids.nnConveniently close to the grocery store.nnNeutral: Many may see this as a positive but heads up in case this may impact someone: there are multiple heartbreaking memorials in the school, to kids who have died, including a very large one at the top of the stairs. It's literally the first thing they showed me on my tour; it's supposed to be a reminder of how short life is etc. Anyway, several times per day, the kids see this fyi. So may want to discuss ahead of time. The other one is in the cafeteria.

The best school in the world! My daughter goes there and has a great time everyday! The teachers are the best! now shes off to wrms knowing how great the principal and staff were.

Superior school with a principal who makes the VVE team excited to work everyday and who studies up on the latest education trends to make sure the school is doing what it needs to do to help the kids succeed in life. The teachers are treated very well (as they should be) which has a trickle down effect to our kids which shows.
