A Title I school, they do great things with limited resources. Not a tiny school, but not too big either. They could work on better communication with their parents, but they try to involve the whole family and keep the kids going with lots of activities.
I have a 5 year old with high functioning autism who is a kindergarten student at Galindo. The entire staff has worked so hard on his behalf. He was immediately moved from a one teacher room to a two teacher room and everyone from his teachers to the vice principals and counselor have been doing everything in their power to help be successful at school.nnI can not say enough good things about the staff at Galindo. There is a reason it is a Recognized school. The teachers go above and beyond anything you could expect.
