I had been going to Ace Tailors for a number of years, but moved and needed to find somewhere closer. Read tons of reviews and decided to go with SOCO for my alterations. BEST DECISION. Tom is incredibly skilled, friendly, fast, and charges fairly. This is my new home for all tailoring needs!
I brought in my disgusting, super dirty wedding dress from my wedding a year and a half ago. It was covered in dirt and champagne and had been just sitting in it forever, so I thought it was a lost cause. But soco cleaners did such an amazing job that now my dress looks brand new. I teared up when he brought it out because it looks so good. He even fixed every little tear and loose bead. They did such a great job!
This is my favorite cleaners and alterations in all of Austin - I have been going here for 10 years. Tom the owner is amazing in every way!nnHe altered my wedding dress, he’s altered many of my designer pieces and he always does a suburb job! I have sent dozens of friends to him over the years and everyone is always very pleased with his work.
This place can do everything: dresses, starch-denim jeans, button downs, suits, & more. Both thick material & thin - it doesn’t matter. I’ve taken all of these items there & left happy. Even in the event that something didn’t fit perfectly when I tried it on, it was fixed to be that way at no additional charge (within a few days).
DO NOT GO TO SO CO CLEANERS for wedding gown services. They lost my Pronovias lace jacket to my gown and denied ever having it in the first place. They are absolute crooks. So sad that I will never again have my full wedding gown. Horrid business!!! Horrible people!!!!
