Peerless Cleaners & Laundry

Dropped off at 9:30 was quoted 2 hours giving them well over 2 hours came back at 1:40 and laundry was spread out all over, unfolded and button up shirts and jeans wrinkled. So safe to say I’m going to have to go and dry them to get the wrinkles out. Didn’t take off any money for the unfinished job. Very disappointed. Not to mention when I left the lady had a sign posted that she’d be gone for awhile then walked out behind me with a cigarette in her mouth! I don’t want smoke smell on my clothes. I’ve dropped off here before and it was another lady who did a great job. But the lady in there today has lost you a customer!

WARNING! If you go here and they do anything to your clothes they will then refuse to do them any longer. This is per Mr. Johnson (owner). Totally unreasonable business owners.nnI got a call while they had 48 pieces of mine that they would no longer do them any longer. The only three things that ever happened were: lost a shirt, wrapped a shirt up the side seam & didn’t remove a stain on a dress for my wife.nnWhy would you refuse a customer after I have gone here for over 10 years! Not the way I run my business or I wouldn’t have one!

One star is too much because I've taken my jeans there a couple times and requested HEAVY starch and after paying about 50 dollars per visit, my jeans feel like there's barely any starch in them at all and they look like they were pressed only without starch! I will not be using them again and I do not recommend them at all to anyone I know! Over priced for crappy quality

I went into Portland Peerless branch in a Thursday, asked specifically if I left my 6 shirts would I get them back the next day. All they needed was pressed/ironed. They promised me by 5 PM that Friday(next day) they'd be ready. I told them these were funeral clothes, more specifically some were palbear shirts for a funeral we had to leave at 5 am on Saturday for.l. I went to pick them up. Same girl at counter. She informs me shirts aren't there, that there's nothing they can do till Monday morning. I said she best call her manager,she said there's no one to call. I informed her with a company this size and that she has to have a hire up that's on call. She grabs phone goes back to back of clothes and calls someone. Then comes back and says trucks are done plants closed nobody can deal. I told her I was going to get a police report for clothes missing and that they'll get management involved i bet. After hour and a half dealing with this gal, we finally got a gal from Ingelside that in 5 minutes was on her way to corpus to get the clothes. So a hour and a half of unneeded pain, we were already having a hard time with a family member dying this gal took it to extreme when she only needed to make a phone call I asked her to do in the first 5 minutes. Needless to say thanks to Ingleside peerless gal we got our shirts, she didn't charge me. But if you need a stat order don't recommend Portland, also, another guy came in and he was missing clothes too, he just didn't need his at least for a funeral. But its sad you have to mention law to get that gal to make the 1 call that was needed.

Warning!!!! Dropped off clothes on Sunday 8-11-19picked up Monday 8-12-19 3 pair of Ariat FR jeans missing... very dishonest establishment in Portland on feeder road
