NED BASS properties is an absolute nightmare to deal with! We own a home beside a Bass property rental home and it’s been a revolving door of people for nearly seven years. We initially contacted the property manager, Kim, several weeks ago about having their chain link fence removed that is in between the rental’s back yard and ours. We were willing to pay for and have a privacy fence installed, we just wanted them to haul off their fence. Kim told my husband that it wasn’t something we needed to worry about because the house was empty at the time. However, knowing that there would be a new tenant at some point, we wanted to ensure that the fence would be safe (it’s a four feet tall chain link fence that is in severe disrepair- large holes in the bottom, not at all sturdy). My husband and I even happened to run into the owner (Ned Bass) while at home one day. As I walked over to introduce myself I asked, “Hi, are you Ned Bass?” and he said, “Maybe, it depends.” This was a very odd response to me, but in hindsight it was because he didn’t want to be known. He finally said he was in fact Ned and we talked to him about the fence being removed. He said his crew was too busy to remove the fence and if we wanted to haul off THEIR fence, we could, but they couldn’t help. When talking to Ned he was in a hurry to finish the conversation with us and said he needed to leave to have his phone fixed. Additionally, Ned made a comment jokingly to my husband that I must be his sister because I didn’t look old enough to be his wife. Umm, what?! How inappropriate. This was the first time in SEVEN years that we have met the homeowner, Ned. Although when my husband called and spoke to Kim the very first time several weeks ago she said that Bass Properties takes pride in being good neighbors. How can you take pride in being a good neighbor if you’ve never even met them?! (And when you get the chance to meet them you avoid them). Looking back, I’ve seen Ned several times at the property, (even times when I’ve been outside working in the yard) and he has never made an effort to build a relationship. My husband and I were the ones who figured out he was the owner and WE introduced ourselves to him!nnNow a tenant has finally moved in and has a large, aggressive, pit bull dog that barks at us, runs towards the fence, and bites at the fence when my children are outside playing. It’s been terribly scary for them and us. My husband has called Kim and talked to her about the threat the animal poses and she has cursed at him over the phone, has told him he is being dramatic, and has hung up on him. Kim has been extremely rude, nasty, and unprofessional throughout all our interactions with her! Not to mention, he has also talked to Ned and Ned’s been just as nasty too. Ned told us he would have someone out to the property the same day we called and no one showed up. The next day, the dog was out again, barking at and attacking the fence when my three sweet, innocent children were outside. I sent them inside and later tried to cut the grass but felt too afraid to do so because the dog would run to the fence and bite at the hole in the bottom of it every time I got close. No one should have to look over their shoulder to make sure they are safe in their own backyard! Every tenant that we have met in the past seven years has told us the company is terrible to rent from but we had no idea what these people we’re dealing with until we have had to interact with Bass Properties ourselves. I wouldn’t wish this upon anyone and recommend that if you ever have the opportunity to rent from Bass Properties that you STAY FAR AWAY! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! You will thank me later for this advice.nnAs of now, we are still dealing with this situation and it’s awful, but when it comes to the safety of our three children we won’t be letting up anytime soon.

I had the pleasure of renting from Bass Properties throughout 2019, and I can say that they are the best landlords I've ever had. My contact, Kim Crady, was extremely helpful and supplied any and all information I needed throughout my renting experience with Bass Properties. She's a fantastic asset to that company and to any renter fortunate enough to have her as their point of contact when it comes to real estate.nnThe property I rented was maintained at the highest level, from repairs to landscaping. I had absolutely no issues or complaints regarding the entirety of my renting experience. I would happily rent from them again in the future!

Lots of storage space in the units and you cannot beat the location - safe, convenient and quiet! Kim, the office manager, is truly wonderful to work with and she was always kind, professional and quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had.nnHighly, highly recommend checking these apartments out!
