My son Milo was in the PPCD program here and received great schooling. He would always come home happy and mentally stimulated. I felt that his safety was also looked after and that the staff genuinely cared about the well being of others. Thanks!

For starters from day one I have received inaccurate information from the front office. They are unorganized and most the time no one has the correct information to answer questions and concerns a parent may have. The office lady MARY is terrible with her response time with following up on task that she says she is going to handle. For example it took her almost 2 months to let me know my child was ineligible for the bus. That was after I called her to get the answer. Mary can be very misleading. I was under the impression my child would be able to ride the bus due to the confidence she had in her tone and choice of words. As for my child’s teacher, she is great. She is very communicative and the curriculum appears to challenge my child. That is the only positive I can say this far.......

Very bad school I don’t recommend it. The whole school changed. My kids started coming back from school not happy. Today my son told me that his teacher told him,”you have bad projects” horrible behavior to sum students. I will be complaining to HISD.

This has to be by far the worst school in Houston! Aside from the school the Transpotation service (bus) is unorganized, understaffed, and majority of the individuals are incompetent.nnIn the past week the bus has been late to pick up or does not show at all. Then one day the bus never picked up the kids from school and my daughter sat there for over an hour until my wife called to find out that the bus broke down and never showed up. The school never called or notified the parents their kid was stuck at school.nnThanks MARY for not doing your job! You take control of being over the transpotation services at this school, but yet do not feel the need to notify parents their kid is not going to be home when expected. Shame shame on you. DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEWLS TO WAIT AND WAIT AND WAIT AND YOUR KID DOES NOT SHOW UP!!! It is the worse feeling not knowing why your child’s bus is not here. The fears that go through a parents mind and yet the school does nothing to make us feel secure and comfortable.nnThen, two days later the bus past my daughter stop and kept driving with the kids cause the driver was lost. My daughter was calling upset, crying, and scared. Thankfully we have the gps on her phone and had her sending us her location to see where she was. At the same time my wife was on the other line with the school who was just as lost with handling the situation as we were.nnAlso, when you call the transportation number they never answer or goes to voicemail. I don’t want to talk to a machine I want to talk to someone who can address these issues.nnLastly, when parents send their children off to school they expect that the people working for the district will keep them safe and make them feel comfortable. Now my daughter is in fear of riding the bus due to the negligence of those over seeing the bus routes.nnCongratulations Briargrove for being one of the worst schools in HISD.
