Our journey at South Shore Montessori school just started a few weeks ago. I can already tell that my child loves it there , my 2 1/2-year-old daughter has never been in school before and I was so afraid that she will be uncomfortable being around other people and kids but all the staff of South shore Montessori made sure that my daughter had the best experience ever. It is very pleasant to see her happy to go to school each morning and excited to see her teachers and her friends. This is not just an ordinary daycare where all the kids do is play. My daughter came home just after being there for three days reciting a poem that I’ve never heard which I knew was taught to her in school , it was very exciting for me to hear! I have always loved the Montessori method and taking my daughter to South Shore Montessori and getting daily updates of her progress just proved that I made the right decision to put my daughter in this school.

My son is in the infant room and loves it. He is a different baby since attending . He comes home smiling and happy everyday. It took him only 2 days to stop crying when I left him for the first time. He is learning new things everyday. We love the extra activities they do with him monthly. The staff is very friendly and professional. We are blessed to have found south shore Montessori and couldn’t be happier with it.

I am very happy with this school. My 6 year old has been attending South Shore Montessori since she was 4 months old. She is developing so well and am very pleased with the way they teach her and work with her. I love that it’s a small school and everyone knows her. She’s very comfortable there and I never have to worry about her safety. Highly recommended.

This school has been a saving grace for my son and our family. I changed jobs at the beginning of Covid meaning a change in childcare. South Shore Montessori was able to give us a virtual tour and walk us through what his new schedule would be. They’re attentive to needs and encourage family participation. The small class sizes are also a plus.

My children have attended SSM for nearly 3 years. They love it and have thrived educationally and socially. It is beyond the daycare experience. The teachers are passionate and caring and the school makes effort to train them in the Montessori method to build on their skills. The school has recently invested in updating the school building, school yard and work materials.
