I'm here a lot because I live close. Everyone is so helpful and so friendly. I have to address upkeep and maintenance on our 15 year old home. Everything from plumbing, electrical, and replacement of parts that ware out after a period of time. Whatever project I'm addressing, I always have questions when I go there. Over the years I have always left there with answers to the questions I had. They have always had the parts or lumber I needed at a good price. Thank you for excellent service every time I've visit.

As an alternative to the big box hardware store Kilgore's has helpful employees and a good selection of harder to find products. Their lumber is superior to most of what is available.

The lady who supports the plumbing department is awesome. I needed five different connections that none of the big box stores carried. She described exactly what I needed and knew exactly where they were. I was really impressed, and have a new favorite hardware store.

I have been a Kilgore’s Lumber customer for as long as I’ve been in business in League City, 48 years. Going back in the day when Kilgore’s was located next to the railroad tracks. Today I wanted to pick up some 2 by’s for a trailer. 12 minutes before they closed they said “Sorry, the guys in the yard have come up here to the counter. Can’t help you”. Do you think they care about serving their customers? Apparently not. That would NOT be the way I run my business.
