Roanoke has the best officers. They are very professional, caring, helpful and friendly.
Won't be eating at the local Roanoke restaurants anymore because your police department seems to have found a source of revenue handing out tickets by restaurant row/HWY 377. No turn signal ticket (failure to yield) pulling out of a parking spot? Please. Barney Fife for sure. I'll be sure to let everyone know Keller has better restaurants.
Would rate them 0 stars if possible. Get pulled over for going left in a right only lane and the first thing the officer asks me to do is step out of the car. Immediately asks if he can search me. The next day, I fix my mistake by cutting through a parking lot instead of turning left and get pulled over again. Apparently it's against the law to cut through a parking lot. Would give them 0 stars if possible but it's not. Just a very pesky police department that enjoys hassling people for the smallest things (not only speaking from my experiences)
I saw a woman receiving a warning for playing soccer without a permit at the Roanoke soccer facility. There is no such permit in existence. The officers were continuously rude to this woman and were attempting to falsify things she was saying and threatening her with arrest. Thank goodness there was a bystander recording the incident or else who knows what could have happened. This department should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.
Thank you Officer Moody for your kind assistance and patience. It made a difficult situation bearable. I feel you are helpful and human, but professional . Thanks to the fireman and supervisor as well.
