We were in McKinney and saw the LJS. We always enjoyed LJS food and went through the drive through. My wife got the chicken strips and I got the platter. Everything tasted like it was cooked in old oil and left under the heat lamp too long. Never again...
Really good when you get fresh fish not long ago taken out of the fryer. Ok when it’s been sitting for a while.
I like this Long John silver's because they have fresh food and good customer service. They are also really fast so you're not staying in line forever.
The young man working in the drive thru is always so polite. I tried to ask his name but I think I weirded him out, it started with a T & he is a young middle eastern man.
The food is consistent. That's what's most important about a fast food chain. My order is consistently accurate and fresh. The drive thru runs efficiently without a long wait, even though there is a line.nnThis store has some other issues not relating to the food. As I drove by after dark yesterday I had a hard time finding it because there were no lights visible from the exterior. Dark sign, dark store, evan a dark lobby. Only light was the headlights in the drive thru. It was about 7pm, so no where near closing time. Plus the external appearance of the store is grungy, it needs some cleanup and maybe a coat of paint. In a drive thru dependent time like this the exterior is all a customer sees.
