I don't live in the district but my encounter with them has been nothing but professional and honest.nnOfficer Vargas handled the concern (my own violation) with nothing but polite and professional conversation with accurate information. Including declining to provide inaccurate information when she wasn't sure.nnBarbara in the office went the extra steps to insure I could complete our transaction in minimal time and effort and did a great job explaining my options.nnI have to give them kudos for this encounter.

I would like to thank the officer that helped me move my wife's dead car out of the street on last night February 19th 2020 about 1030pm in the freezing rain. I don't know the officer's name but I just want to make sure that it is known from my address to the police station a sincere thanks and appreciation for Harding Ln and Johnson Dr Thank U for ur services Blue!

Lavon PD has been know for DECADES as a corrupt dept. .....they are WELL known for making up & going by their OWN set of laws NOT the ACTUAL laws of the State of Texas ....BE CAREFUL when traveling around/through Lavon Tx. it is COMMON practice for them to stop and ILLEGALLY search vehicles without probable cause or ANY reason other than THEY say so ] .... ANY citizen unlucky enough to get within eye shot of them has a VERY good chance of getting harassed and/or treated VERY poorly !!

Officer wASS likes to illegally search Vehicles without consent or probable cause! He wears a cowboy hat presumably to keep from having his entire head slip into his rectum... he refused to identify himself, instead he makes foolhardy attempts to impose Authority where he has none! The primary function of Lavon PD is to harass motorist over minor traffic violations and then quickly escalate into a search of your vehicle. Lavon has a long reputation as a policing for profit speed trap!
