I have been overcharged twice now due to misreadings of my water meter, and recently I was charged double any amount I’ve ever been charged because my previous two bills were lower than usual. It was explained to me that it’s because my water meter was “catching up” from the previous low bills. Now I’m stuck paying over $125 for one month’s water bill, and we don’t even get trash pickup or charges for that.

Honestly, I have read some of the reviews, and personally for me, my experiences with the water dept is a mixed bag! There are a couple of very nice women that work there that are extremely pleasant on the phone, and I have had them work with me on my bill this last month. But there have been a couple times that the customer service is seriously lacking. I could tell they couldn't care less about me or anything I was talking about and its like they couldn't wait to get off the phone!
I was put on hold for an extremely long time. When someone finally answered I was treated unkindly and they would not listen to my issue. They do their billing thorough third party company and I lost so much extra and unnecessary money due to this third party company. When my husband showed up to pay our bill in person he was not allowed to sign for the card used and required to go get cash to pay, and this again cost me additional money. I am extremely unhappy with how we were treated and the unnecessary money lost to this company.
Confused as to why they charge you extra to pay online...... its 2020, not 1950. They're probably the only company I know of that charges extra to pay it online/paperless.
