If you plan to live in Jonesborough make sure you are prepared to be taken advantage of by the water dept. My water bill is twice as much as it has been any where else I have lived. When you break the bill down, it is so high due to the insane amount of taxes/fees/ect. they charge for service. Not to mention they charge you a $100 to turn on service no mater what your credit rating or payment history is. By the way I have never been so much as a day past due.. They will not transfere service and the $100 is not a deposit but a fee that has to be paid everytime you change address, again regardless of payment history or credit rating. It almost feels criminal dealing with them.

Bad customer service. These people are rude. Whatever you do don’t move to jonesborough tn.

A huge thanks and great job to the Jonesborough water!! We called at 6 this morning to report no water. Water back quickly and they are working on problem!! Very happy and impressed!!!
