The police dept does not take homosexual disputes seriously. They locked up an HIV positive/aids gay man who owns the home, had been locked in his room avoiding from his ex partner who shut the a/c off on him, had been physical with him, disconnected the internet, sold his possessions, took money from his bank acct. His ex called the police, lied. The police were obviously tired of their calls, locked up the wrong man.nnFor jollies, the locked him up nude. He was cold, no clothes for 3 days. He was denied his meds. His pee turned green from his treatment. He was curled up on the floor, no blanket. He was treated like a dog. I'm sure these cops needed some entertainment for the wknd.nnUpon release, he was let go barefoot. They arrested him without shoes. He had to 5 miles to walk in June heat to get home. He didn't make it home. He ended up in the hospital, heat exhaustion. I want to know why my friend didn't get to make calls. He's not suicidal, why no clothes? Are all prisoners treated like this, or just gays?nnI vow to have an attorney look into this and have these cops fired.
