Super 8 by Wyndham Monteagle TN

The exterior gives a less than reassuring atmosphere as you pull up. The room was clean and adequate. Shower was hot and the room smelled fine. Expect a snack bag for the complimentary breakfast.

Good place to stay, quiet and next to the Waffle House & Subway. Hershil at the front desk was extremely welcoming and helpful, got us accommodations despite having trouble with an online 3rd party booking reservation that never sent our info at all. They have washer and dryer on site. Thanks for the great save and experience!

I was arriving after a long drive. I had made reservations prior to arriving based on photos and my Wyndham account. As i pulled into the parking lot, i decided to make a loop around the property, ad it looked very unkempt. There were broken windows and the property looked bad and unsafe. I went into the lobby to check in, it was no better. I got my room key and went into my room, it smelled bad, unclean, the bedding was something from a dumpster. I immediately checked into another hotel down the street which was nice. I went hack to the super 8 lobby, handed them my room keys, paid for a night I didn't, nor would i use. It was worth eating the 75.00 nights charge to Not Stay there!!

Front desk guy was amazing with saving us money but housekeeping needs to actually wash the sheets and clean the beds. I lifted up the covers and there was several strands of long hair just bunched together. Other then that everything else was great.

I gave 1 star because no star is not an option. Found fingernail clippings on top of the heater/ac unit and hair all over the bathtub. When I brought it to the attention of the manager, all I was told is sorry, I will let housekeeping know in the morning. Cleanliness obviously has a very low priority at this motel. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere (anywhere) else. The bed was absolutely horrible. It was like there was no support from the box springs. 25 years of staying in motels for work and this was the single worst motel I have ever stayed at.
