Ijams Nature Center

Although we didn’t get to explore all of Ijams, we did book their elopement package by the quarry. Katie was amazing to work with and she helped make our special day one-of-a-kind. Even though the weather wasn’t the greatest, the experience was perfect and memorable. We even went back the next day to take a few more pictures and check out more of the quarry.

This is an awesome experience. The staff are helpful with getting you started. Once you get going, you are pretty much free to go about the course. It is stunning at night with the lights turned on. In the right weather this would be perfect. It is pretty strenuous and it gets tiring. This makes for a great date night or just a night out.

I love going to Ijams! They have some easy trails that loop around with awesome views. You can see wildlife and it's beautiful when the flowers start to bloom. The trails get muddy and slick after it rains so be sure to wear the correct shoes.

We went for a Knoxville Opera performance during the pandemic. As you can see, social distancing was adhered to nicely.nnAs a bonus, there was free EV charging available and we were able to easily find a spot.
