I absolutely adore zoos. They're quintessential to childhood and are still a necessity for me as an adult. This is a cute little zoo, well spaced out, and has fun little events through the year. I've been at least 4 times in the last couple of months because what's better than walking around outside on a beautiful sunny day and looking at fun creatures you don't see just out and about?nThis last time I went I was finally able to see the tigers and I was SO EXCITED. Gosh they are just so pretty. And the bears were doing bear things and the elephants were snacking. It was absolutely great.nnIf you're looking for a bigger zoo, this isn't for you. This is a small, cute, and quick in-and-out zoo that can take you maybe 45 minutes tops if you speed walk it. I like to take my time though and spend about 2 hours there wanting to pet every single fluffy butt.nnI haven't tried any of the food there, but the gift shop staff are always pleasant!

My family and I had an amazing time here. We loved the variety of animals that my kids have only seen pictures of, and feeding a giraffe was a dream come true for them!nI especially loved reading the information about the animals, and the operations of the zoo. We felt like we walked away appreciating our animals even more.nMy kids also loved the souvenir stands! The staff was friendly, the walk was enjoyable, and the Zoo looks extremely well cared for. My family and I were here about 5 hours, and consider it money and time well spent.nMy only regret is that we didn't pack a cooler. I love that we have the option to do that! The price of the food was not the problem, but we felt like it lacked variety. Once we settled somewhere to eat, while not at very full capacity, our order took a while to get to us, and I was disappointed in the lack of cleanliness at the eating establishment we chose.nIt's a bit of a drive for us, but we would love to come back at another time!

Lots of animals.nGreat narratives on the boards.nEnjoy looking at the construction too.nAnnual pass is a great deal.nNice place to go for a walk.nFood service is good, but the ordering of the food process was VERY painful. took a line of 10 people over 30 minutes to get their order placed. Same order process at McDonald's or burger king would have had a similar queue down to a 5 minute wait.nThey lost a lot of time w/ beverage service, they should just make it self serve. If beverage was self serve, then the person filling drinks could have been taking orders.nWe we had a couple kids in tow, we were tempted to leave the zoo to go eat elsewhere to get them fed.nWe would have scored zoo a 5 if the food service was better.

Enjoyed our trip there. Just wish there had been a way to see the all the animals even with the colder temps. It's definitely a good idea to get there early than later. As we were leaving there was a long line to get in. It's so easy to see most of the animals that are on exhibit.
