Great place to bring the kids, plenty of videos and interactive activities for everyone to participate in. Outside grounds are beautiful and upkept well. 5 dollars entry fee for adults, but they offer discounts for triple A and seniors. Kids under 12 are free. Tables outside in the shade with views are a great place for lunch! Gift shop was reasonably priced and labeled nicely. Facility was clean and comfortable! Come have a great day
If I could give more stars, I would. Very educational as well as eye opening. I feel US History sugar coats the truth about how the Native Americans were really treated, and this museum did a great job at not only telling that side but also the struggle that Sequoyah went through to develop the Cherokee alphabet and help his people. It's a must see for those interested in history.
It was one of the best museums I've been too. Very clean and well-kept, as well as informative. Great way to learn more about my Cherokee heritage. There was also a great gift shop with a variety of Indigenous products, including from Cherokee and other Native Nations. This includes books, jewelry, cards, dream catchers, pottery, etc. There was one lady working there; very nice and conversational. I definitely recommend stopping by.
Great place to go and see how the Cherokee lived and how the Cherokee language was invented and used by the native people in this area. I highly recommend this place for a great day.
Really cool and educational museum. The movie/story displays are really nice. Also the gift shop has a good selection.
