The botanical garden side of the zoo is beautiful! It's so serene and the blooms anytime of year of gorgeous. Great place to take the kids too.

I used to enjoy these gardens years ago. Seeing it today really was an eye opener on how it's not really cared for. In some areas, it's beautiful; however, other aras, such as the Japanese Gardens are run down and just upsetting to see. There are no areas to get water, so walking for awhile makes it easy to dehydrate.nnI'm hoping the next time I come that the area looks more cared for.

Well, I enjoyed my visit BUT we did go in the off season. Most of the flowers were not in bloom. The tram was down so it was a bit of a walk, but I still enjoyed myself. I'm sure the pandemic has not helped things. Hopefully a return visit in the summer will merit different results. I hope the staff is able to find seasonal flowers that can be viewed during the colder temps for the area.

Love the flowers. Not in bloom yet but I still love the peace that comes from the beauty of nature
