Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy

Absolutely love OVCA! This is our second year, and my child is excited to learn, can remember everything a lot easier, and best of all, no homework. While we do have a few classes during the week, these are taught very efficiently, and very well. The rest of the assignments are due by the end of the quarter, but elementary is provided an on-track calendar to make sure you're not getting behind. The teachers are very communicative and easy to schedule meetings with, etc. OVCA (through K-12) also provides 99% of materials needed (some science experiments require baking pans, etc. that are not provided) to complete assignments.nnWe don't participate much in the outings, but they are available at least on a monthly basis, as well as there are online virtual clubs (cooking, robotics, nature, etc.) that students can join.nnThe gifted and talented program is great as well!nnThis whole learning process has really brought my child and I closer, as we can tackle any issues head on. As a parent, it's really reassuring to not only know exactly what your child is learning and when everything's due, but to also have the support of teachers and Community Family Advisers when you need it.nnWe love OVCA!!
