Taste of Soul Giant Egg Roll

I ordered a turkey and a chicken with jalapeno yesterday (3/23/2021). I have been there about 3 times before. Neither of the rolls were any better than a place like Panda express. the one for the Chicken had almost NO chicken in it and it was 99 percent cabbage. Needless to say, I won't be going back. The last time I got the chicken/jalapeno one, it had more chicken than cabbage. I guess times are hard but so is my efforts to make money. So I won't soon be returning to this place again.

Tried the egg rolls for the first time today! They were amazing! Very friendly lady working. She was extremely busy but very attentive to our needs! Will be back!

Taste of soul has a unique menu that gives them a flavor all of their own. It's a great combination of soul food, and chinese food. Chicken and waffles with a side of fried rice? Trust me it works. The best thing on the menu, however, are the giant egg rolls. If you are a egg roll lover then this is a place you want to familiarize yourself with. They have a variety off egg rolls and sauces, so you can get a regular chicken egg roll with sweet and sour sauce, or have their chess steak egg roll with the restaurants own Okie sauce ( my favorite). And did I mention these egg rolls were giant!!!

WOW is all I can say! Best eggrolls and fried spicy rice I have had in years! Great customer service and the food was still hot once I made it home. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone who loves eggrolls! Definitely will be going back to try the other things on the menu

The egg rolls are definitely worth the wait. Best egg rolls I've had in a very long time if not my whole life. Their okie cheesesteak is a top seller for a reason. I also couldn't decide which of their sauces I liked better. The rice was amazing in my opinion, some people might not like it but be the judge of it for yourself. Amazing customer service. Best 10 bucks I've spent on myself in a long time.
