Easy access to a wide, long gravel bar, on the east bank just north of the new Combs Bridge. Very busy, with continual bus loads of rafters from several of the downstream resorts, dropping off to begin their trips, as well as rafts putting ashore for lunch, who started further upstream. On weekends it is a cacophony of boom boxes. More sedate on weekdays. Would be an okay gravel bar to swim from if not for the large number of rafts coming and going.
Public access to river. But shallow water.
It would be great if you could get access to the river
Nice place to look around.
Very nice public access area either great river access. The kids love it. There's restrooms and 1 community grill where u can cook your hamburgers and hot dogs. Great place!
