The trails are wonderful! I took the one that is over 5 miles (multiple trails combined). It was easy to get immersed in nature, especially once off the paved trail. This is a beautiful place well worth the hour drive. Highly recommend!

A fairly well maintained nature center educating locals and tourists alike on the wild life and history of the area.nnBesides the indoor exhibits, there are some live animals which we got a chance to see and learn about.nnIt's a nice stop for us as we leave the Sequoyah State Park after a short getaway.

I liked this place because it is a nice quiet little building with snakes and an outdoor area with a baby beaver and the baby is so cute!

Sarah and Sierra took great care of our Girl Scout troop. They are friendly and knowledgeable. They taught our troop about native species of animals and their habitats. We also learned how the rescued animals found their home at the Nature Center and why it's important not to try to domesticate wild animals. All of the girls loved watching the animals eat and a few were brave enough to pet the corn snake! This is our second time out there as a troop, we are fortunate to have the Nature center so close. Thank you for yesterday, it was a treat!nGS Troop 1380

A cool stop to see some animals that you topically don't see that are native to the area. We stopped in as they were closing so didn't get to look inside much but will definitely have to come back to check it out
