The Artesian Hotel, Casino & Spa

A really nice hotel and spa. Beautiful on the inside and out. The hotel has a full service spa, a restaurant, small bar area, and a few shoppes. The casino is on the small side, so if that is your main interest, look elsewhere. A good sized indoor- outdoor pool. A large hot tub/bathhouse.

Good but could have been much better.nnWe had a corner suite on the second floor, nice lay out. Bed was nice. Lines were nice as were the pillows. In room coffee and a wet bar plus a fridge.nnI rarely write reviews but they need to be a bit more polished for the rate they charge.nn-The wifi was almost non existent. It was super very weak unless you walked to the front door and then it would go away.n-The safe in the room did not work, it was open and 'locked' and would not accept the cc swipe.n-The sink drained super slowly, full of hair and whatever else.nnBecause of Covid, I did not want anyone in the room but I told sparky at the front desk upon check out. He said they would get on it right away...good for the next guest but again, decent place to go. I should have said something but for the rate they charge, I should not have to.nnThe casino wreaks so bad with cigarette smoke that we went to go play a bit and stayed less than five minutes. I understand smoking and gaming, it goes with the territory, but this was on a level I have never experienced. It was so bad, we did not play at all. Note to management: step up the ventilation as people that do not smoke are not going to play in your casino. We saved, you lost.nnTry the local family restaurant down the street, it is incredible. The restaurant on premises lacks a lot.nnOverall, it is a 'nice' hotel and has some positives. Management needs to pay attention to small details. If the did that, this place would be worthy of five stars.

I want to say thank you the the staff it was an amazing experience even thought in the beginning it was a little rocky with the weather and the ice storm they 100% made it one of the best days I’ve had in a long time the front deck lady named Bailey was awesome took care of everything also her manger was by her side the whole time Becky was her name . I will see you ladies again soon planning on coming down with my sons to check out that amazing hot tub and indoor and outdoor pool for spring break!!! Thank you again for all your help

Our room was beautiful and clean! We requested a microwave and they were happy to send up one to us quickly!nThe receptionist who checked us in yesterday afternoon was very sweet and friendly.nnWe had dinner at the restaurant downstairs (Springs) and our server was so helpful and checked on us regularly. She also made a really good margarita for us.nThis hotel was decorated beautiful and our kids were amazed! They also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi!

This is one of my favorite places for a weekend getaway. The hotel is top notch. A fabulous spa, great service from all of the staff, and the surrounding shops. I highly recommend it for couples, families, and girl trips!
