I have been a BIG fan of MVH&H. But today I had a busted water pipe. Three people stood out and helped me as I am not a plumber. Larry, Al & Elizabeth helped me tremendously. They walked me through step by step on what to do and it made me feel confident on this task. They were correct! Mission accomplished! You can not get this kind of service at any corporate store. I always enjoy the warm/family atmosphere at MVH&H from all the employees. But today this three really stood out!

Been many times over the past 2 years. Their prices may not be better than Lowe's but they are very helpful and customer service oriented. I don't mind paying extra for that type of service.

Incredibly diverse inventory and number of items. It might be a little more expensive than the big boxes but they are locally run and owned and you can tell they care about their store. Highly recommend them, support your locals.

This is a terrific store that is extremely well run with a very helpful staff. They have a little of everything and will get you what you need within a day or so. The gift section shows a creative buyer's eye. I can find unusual gifts every time.
