I have been here several times and always find it to be fast, friendly, and the food just as it was ordered.nnThat review was two years ago. Today, called to place an order for pickup as I often do. Message said come in and order, they are not taking orders over the phone today. Drove in and got in line to order takeout. The man in line ahead of me had been waiting 30 minutes to place his order. We had to wait while the fully staffed crew took phone orders before taking our orders.
We normally get a good meal at Waffle House. We recently tried to grab some supper and was turned away because the cook had walked out in the middle of the shift. They were still open but had no one to cook. The two waitresses told us about the cook walking out as we were entering along with a couple other customers. We ended up grabbing fast food at another fast food restaurant.
This particular location and at this time of day (10AM) did an unusually, outstanding job. The service was awesome, the food was awesome and arrived fast. Our waitress had a trainee with her an I noticed how careful and professional the waitress coached her trainee.nAnd, these people looked normal. Often times I'm afraid to eat the food because of who may have touched my plate. This location is not the norm. It's superior to the rest.
Got take out this morning and once again something was left out of my order. I've noticed they've been doing this a lot lately. The people are polite and the food is still great, but it seems like every single time we've gone in the past 3 months, either something is wrong or missing, or both, even when they're dead.
Second shift people are really nice personally I think it's the best time to go thank y'all so much for being great people.
