Found this place through the Internet and I will tell you it is a true GEM and a piece of North Carolina history. This place has luckily been preserved by new owners but the original artwork and artifacts were artistically placed on the outside of a shed in the front of the property by the road. This work was done by the previous owner over many years in the 80s and 90s. It’s free to visit and they gladly except donations But be respectful of the property and spread the word so people can educate their selves on eastern North Carolina history
