Fast n friendly service. Love that you can get nails or screws by the pound or just 1 if that's all you need. Love the atmosphere n the lady running the place is very friendly n helpful. I will definitely be shopping there in the future.

I stopped into Bowman Hardware today while I was in Marshall. I met Kathy McCormick the owner. I asked Kathy if it would be alright to take some photos of her hardware store. I really love it when I find a place that makes one step back in time. Bowman’s Hardware is the perfect example of that. Walking in there sparked great memories of when I was a child and my dad would take me with him to the hardware store. To my absolute delight, Kathy spent a good amount of time showing me around her business and giving me the history of the building, and the business that her dad owned and ran for many years prior to his passing. Being a history buff I was excited to learn about all of it. Kathy is such a nice kind person and I very much applaud her for carrying on her family’s legacy and keeping the “way things used to be” alive and well in the beautiful town of Marshall. I’d ask that anyone needing anything hardware related to please support Kathy and her business. If you’re just visiting Marshall ( and I highly suggest you do if you are anywhere near Marshall ) to stop in to Bowman’s Hardware and say hello to Kathy. You will be glad you did. One of the best things I’ve ever done was to walk into that front door today.nKathy treated me like I was a member of her family. Thank you so very much Kathy. I will definitely be stopping by whenever I’m in Marshall in the future.

Absolutely love this place! If you need anything for your garden, Kathy will either have it or know where to get it, or maybe what to use instead... She is very knowledgeable, kind & friendly, a total doll & AJ (aka: ChickennMan) is a hoot!nThe rain boots I got there are the best boots I ever had!nnWorth the stop & the lil extra you might have to spend... Beats big box stores all day!

Like stepping back to a wonderful and slightly macabre place in time. Solid selection of hardware, with enough retro and kitsch hidden gems to make it worth a stop. Get the owner, Kathy, to tell you about the “drive-by viewing window” for the funeral parlor that used to occupy the 3rd floor. If you ask nicely, she may show you the antique elevator they used to move the bodies upstairs! What a cool detour and what awesome stories!
