I LOVE taking my babies here to run out their energy. It is so beautiful & well maintained. There’s a great variety of trails, with different views & different distances. So, whether I have 30 minutes to kill or 3 hours, I can bring the kids here & be fulfilled. I also enjoy bringing my dog Copper and he loves it, too! ud83dudc15
My first impression was there was so many people on the grounds. The appointments seemed to allow enough space for people not to be crowded. I liked that and felt at ease. Another positive is they seemed to have a little bit for everyone. As a Christian, I enjoyed a few paintings from church history. I was also glad to see historical paintings and not just modern ones. The last note I would give is guard did badger me as I was taking in the last row around closing, which I was annoyed, as I had acknowledged her three times and was going quickly. But overall, this Coloradan enjoyed herself and will be back.
Went on a Sunday morning at opening, just before I left town to return home. Quiet, and not crowded, masking rules were being enforced. I enjoyed the museums take on moving pieces from different areas and providing context and interconnection across stylistic periods and generations of artists. I'm still mainly captivated by the still life's and sculpture. There's something for everyone there to enjoy. And the breadth of the collection gives you an opportunity to experience other styles and find new forms to enjoy.
We love the museum of art and are very glad that it is open again. we have been going there for a long time, a lot longer than the new building has existed of course. We always loved the family activities there as well and will welcome those when they return. For now it is truly cathartic and pleasing to have access at least to the permanent exhibits again. highly recommended for a nice leisurely walk around the grounds as well, especially on a nice afternoon!
Beautiful collection and park. Great place to spend a few hours wondering.
