Not the same Ted's I know and love. John is the saving grace of this place. He's been there over 20 years. The place is run down, most machines do not work, both washers and dryers. It's a shame how it's been let go. And there are really no other cost effective laundromats in Haywood or Jackson counties. It's clear and sad that the new owners don't realize how important Ted's is to our community. Blue tape means not operational ud83dude14

If I could give a negative star rating I would. I went in to wash a king size comforter that won't fit in my washer at home. Almost every single one of the larger capacity washers had an out of order sign on them. The place looked dirty. The few large washers that didn't seem to be out of order had signs on them for attendant use only, and I saw nobody that actually worked there. I promptly left and went to suds your suds in Cullowhee. I recommend going there instead. Ted's laundry used to be nice back in the day, but it seems whomever owns it now doesn't care enough to maintain the place. Sad.

Was better when Ted owned it.nI went there yesterday almost all the machines are broken maybe one or two machines at work it's shameful the condition of this place they shouldn't even open the doors!

Coin machine only takes $1 and $5. After putting detergent and clothes in washer it would not work. I had to buy more detergent but put $ in the dispenser and nothing came out. Washed my clothes and someone loaned me soap. When I went to use dryers most were out of order. So, I left and went to Suds you Duds 15 minutes away. Very clean and attendant on duty.

This place has not been kept up at all. It was once a nice laundromat. Now it’s filthy. Absolutely filthy! The machines are in bad need of maintenance - actually most of them need to be replaced as most don’t work. I guess if you’re the only place in town you don’t have to compete with anyone but next time, I’m driving to Waynesville.
