Wonderfully accepting of all students, including those who have special needs, and providing of an excellent educational curriculum systems and outstanding faculty members: teachers, principals, teacher's assistants, one-on-one aides, and so many more! I had a very blessed and happy experience as a special needs student at Lafayette Elementary School, even though I only went there for two years for my fourth and fifth grade years! I highly recommend this school to any parent searching for a great school for their child or children to attend to and receive one of the best educations any kid can get from a school! Lafayette Elementary School is definitely one of the top-notch schools in the Harnett County area and some of the surrounding counties that outskirt the Harnett County boundaries!

My daughter has gone to the school since the first day starting school. I started having concerns about her learning. The teacher says this should have been caught last year. LOL! I pushed for testing. I was told she's behind but she's moving forward. Speaking with her doctor every year.Second grade the same. Lots of meetings and no one see any thing wrong. She ....grade levels behind in reading and math. Not talking about the looks you get. The princple acts like you not there and just tonight at spring fling her teacher (rose), second grade teacher( H), front desk lady and principal did evey thing possible to not even have to speak. Beginning of this year I requested to speak with the counselor so we could speak of the dotor and I concernsnand was told its possible that she may repeat third grade. Second grade we paid around 2000 for Sylvan learning center. Couldnt keep that up. Paiding for Occupational Therapy twice a week. Saw Doctors and did Tests to be told she has ADHD. This along with kidney failure and husband working 10hr days. To sum this up if you want to go to a school that care about kids. Not this one!! And I hope its not the fact that she's the only black kid. The other years she did have one.

I am sad about the fact that parents are not contacted when kids are sent to the principle office. Also, I will pro abaly never put my kids on bus again.
