I have gone to Forsyth academy for most of my academic career and I personally think it is a great choice I am currently going to 8th grade and although the year was cut short I still had a good one. But to parents word of advice this school is the top pick for elementary I personally think it is a better discion to only keep your kids there till 5th grade then transfer to a better middle school because it has slowly declined (as evidence from scores) and your kids will have less of and adjustment and more public school experiences.

I use to go to this school and over all it was the best school I had ever gone to all the people there made you feel welcomed and I wish I never moved you this school and its get a 5 star best school out there

My daughter has went here for 2 years. I love the staff and students. Traffic is pure hell to get in and out of the facility, but beyond that I have no complaints.

I am giving this school a 2 both elementary and middle. 2 becuase at one point this school was a very pleasant school. The communication with the teachers was great. I was always informed about everything. Recently things have changed, fights break out every other week, kids are getting suspended all the time, teachers have come and gone all of sudden either they get fired or quit becuase the kids are out of control. This school year I have been through almost every parents nightmare and things were not handled properly. Threats of school shootings, kids talking about committing suicide, my sons 5th grade teacher was arrested for child abuse, I found out about it through the news and school wouldnt release any information. I can say there are some teachers and staff that are passionate about teaching and are there to help students but unfortunately when the majority of the staff lacks in doing their job. Kids are the ones being affected. Their academic scores have dropped drastically and not my kids in particular but the schools average scores over the past school years. I have given this school the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity to make some changes, but things just seem to get worse before they get any better. My kids will not be going to this school next school year.
