This place is in desperate need of renovations and updates. It needs more toddler appealing activities as well. I love that some of the items promote a love for STEM, but the overall place is just sad, old and lack luster. The Kaleidium Downtown is much, much better. This is a great location right off 52- just some work needs to be done to make this northern location more fun and appealing.

Been going to this place with family for a long time! Been coming over here when it wasn't even called Kaleideum and it was called something else. It is a tradition to come here every single year at least once or twice and I'm still happy to come over as I get older! Take a popular chain-science center and make a mini-version of it but with the same amount of fun, this place is it. Recommend you check this place out! Won't spoil the things there!

Great attractions for the entire family. We decided that to do a day trip and Kaleideum North was our first stop. Very friendly staff. We will be returning again soon.

Honestly, it was kind of lackluster for me. My husband and I took our daughter for her first birthday. Most of the staff working seemed apathetic, except the planetarium host, she seemed genuinely enthused and happy about her job. There's plenty to wonder around and see/do, but I don't know how much is covid safe. Everything requires touching and there's only one bottle of hand sanitizer in each area. I know it's annoying, but there really should be someone constantly sanitizing each station. The animal cages are small, but they look fed and taken care of. The gift shop is okay. The kaleidum didn't have a restaurant, but there's plenty of eating nearby. We didn't venture outside, so I can't really comment on that. We'll probably wait until our daughter is quite a bit older to return.
