Granite Falls Police Department

Dear GFPD, I have lived in Granite Falls since 1979 and wouldn't live anywhere else. But I have a complaint to air. I frequented the WINN DIXIE for many years to shop and now I shop at FAIRVALUE at least 1-3 times a week including a visit to Family Dollar. There are NO PARKING SIGNS (3) staged in front of FAIRVALUE and small red and white signs on the braces that holds up the front overhang from there on down to the very end of the strip. (Hannah's). NOT one time that I have been shopping that there has NOT been 1 to 3 cars parked in front of Family Dollar , Pancho Villa's,Smoker's Friendly and/ or Hanna's BQ and if it's lunchtime, as it was today (GFPD car went rolling right by 2 PARKED cars that were not suppose to be parked there at ANYTIME FOR ANY REASON because all the way down this strip is a FIRE LANE).....I have seen GFPD officers come out of Pancho Villa's, walk right between the parked cars, into the parking lot and get in their cars and drive off..... This has got to be stopped before someone walks in between these illegally parked vehicles before someone gets hit/ran over , could be a small child. Before I go, I have also seen cars with NO ONE IN THEM illegally parked in front of these stores too....!!!!!
