Great learning atmosphere but tragic that the county leaves these kids behind. Excellent teachers and staff and they do their best with what little the school board gives them.
As the academic school year is closing at Jessie Mae Monroe Elementary School, I have really enjoyed my time as a volunteer helping teachers and students achieve their educational goals. My 3 children attend this school and I have been very happy with their teachers and their dedication! Communication is excellent and Mr. Cupolo and Mrs. Browning have worked wonderfully to help our teachers, students, and staff have a Great Day at Jessie Mae!
This school was an acedemic failure to my children. We made the decision to sell our house and move to a different area to be in a different school district. After being in a different school I can see a major difference from a staff that cares compared to one that is only collecting a pay check. Problems seem to come from the administration and effect teaching. I would look for any other option before sending my children to this school.
