The Anson County Historical Society offers a brochure and walking tour of Wadesboro's Downtown Historic District. The Society office and Anson County Historical Museum is the first stop on the tour. The society office offers historical books for sale and others for research. They have many photos, pictures, historical maps, and portraits. Records for researchers and general public view are also available.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
