Great docent walking tour of historic area! Thanks, George!nLovely museum! Nice variety of artwork: oil paintings, sculptures, English silver and Native American basketry! (May I suggest a paper backing to glass descriptions of items to make it easier to read. The lighting makes it difficult.)nAnd that Chihuly glass chandelier was spectacular!nNeed an inexpensive paperback book about Laurel, walking tour house details & pictures and some museum picture examples. Would be a great way to get museum donations & let patrons leave with a nice memory souvenir!!!

Loved this little treasure. We weren't sure we were going to go but was so glad we did. The staff were both knowledgeable and kind. The art was amazing. Definitely stop in if you're in the Laurel area.

We loved seeing all the exhibits and the fact that while there was a lot to see you didn't feel overwhelmed. It was well layer out and the staff was friendly and helpful. So glad we got to visit this trip.

It's a small museum but has some wonderful pieces including a Casat and a great collection of Japanese prints by well known masters. It also has two rooms for traveling exhibitions. Both current exhibitions in those rooms are worth seeing.

I have been here twice and both times were delightful. They always have a great exhibit that rotates approximately every 3 months and then the other exhibit rooms have wonderful artwork. On top of that the number of books to research art or other aspects of southern living are enormous. Finally, the building itself is absolutely gorgeous.
