Nice park, unfortunately the museum for Jimmie Rodgers is closed due to Covid-19 right now, January 30,2021.
Sad to see the condition of the train, with windows broken. Went here since my girls were young. Something needs to be done to preserve the park.
I wasn’t able to make it during the day time. I will have to come back to check out the inside. I did get a few pictures
Have yet to visit inside but look forward to it. Several things outside to see and a neat place to have lunch.
I loved this place so much!nnDo not miss it if you are anywhere near Meridian, MS.nnAs a singer and musician it was humbling and inspiring to learn about and see first hand the sacrifices that Jimmie Rodgers made to leave this awesome legacy of music for people to enjoy for all time.nnThe staff couldn't have been more friendly. They were knowledgeable and passionate about Jimmie Rodgers and all of the wonderful artifacts that are in the Museum.nnThank you Susan and Bill for an experience that gave me tears of joy and a lifelong memory.
