Mama Hamil’s is the best buffet restaurant that I have ever eaten at. I don’t get to go often but would eat there every day if I could. They sure know how to cook southern food. The staff is super friendly and the price is very reasonable. I am going for lunch today. The only problem I see about going there is that I always leave there too full.
Someone stumped their toe with the seasoning the day i went.
The service was great. The food was okay.
So good! The buffet is back open, with gloves and masks. They always have delicious home cooked foods. The veggies are usually sweetened a little, good for picky eaters, but you might want to be aware if you are watching weight.
Hamil's is one of our go to restaurants when visiting Madison. The place starts getting busy by 11 and stays that way until 2 so get there early. Everything is delicious but I always get the corn, mashed potatoes, greens, and chicken livers. Don't miss the banana pudding for dessert either!
