Great place where the People's Advocacy Institute and Credible Messengers meet to discuss Violence Interruption and it's an event open to the public and all communities. Food and childcare is always provided. Its once a week month on Tuesdays from 6-8PM.
This is an amazing space that immortalizes the history and legacy of the struggle for freedom in Jackson and all of Mississippi. The space is beautifully kept and split into 3 rooms that are able to hold a reasonably sized group. It's maintained by JSU so it's usually locked up. To use the space or get a tour you need to set up a time through the Margaret Walker Center on JSU campus. It's free to the public though.
