The man working in the ticket booth was so helpful and informative. I’m not from Mississippi nor do I like sports so this wasn’t at the top of my list to visit. We stopped here for my husband who is one man with a wife and two daughters. They had interactive games that we played and that kept my girls interested. The museum is phenomenally done and very clean.
There for Covid-19 Vaccine. Well organized and the staff was friendly and efficient.
Good to look back in time
This was my first stop when I got to Jackson, I'm a huge sports fans and like to enjoy sports museums for states who have them, so this one was a no brainer. When you first open the door you are greeted by an older women and gentlemen, both very nice folks. They have you watch about a 10 minute video on Mississippi sports, very nice short film. At first glance, I was amazed how clean and nice the museum was. As I proceeded to all of the memorabilia, I was impressed on the set up and how much stuff they had on display for all of the different athletes. I highly recommend making this one of your stops when visiting Jackson. You won't be disappointed if you're a sports fan.
