Lapels Dry Cleaning

I hate to do this because I also work with the public, so I know it is not an easy job, but there is no excuse for the service received at this location. I had taken a mattress topper there because I had always had a wonderful experience in Oxford. Needless to say not the case with this location. So when I dropped it off (day of the accident) they said it would be a couple of weeks, but a week after their promise date my husband went up there to check on it and they told him it would be another couple of days. They did get the spot out, but then they sacked the topper up while it was still wet not to mention it was still very damp when I took it out of the bag (it had to have been bagged up a couple of days because we couldn’t get up there immediately due to work schedules) which no surprise resulted in mold spots on it, and they tried to say they were there when we brought it in (spots were no where near the stain might I add, not to mention the topper was practically brand new hence the urgency in taking it up there the day of the accident) I understand the topper is very heavy, so therefore it would have taken awhile to dry. My husband took it back up there and the gentleman was very rude but he did take it back, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt probably just having a bad day. I went back for the topper and the gentleman already had an attitude said he couldn’t get the spots out, and once again tried to say they were already there. All I needed was a simple apology for bagging it up too soon before it had completely dried, but instead he kept trying to say they did nothing wrong and basically didn’t care that I wasn’t satisfied with their service.

I told the lady my last name and she took care of the rest. Professional service.

I brought my purse to Lapels to have its strap fixed and it was taken care of at a very affordable price!

They were very friendly and took my item and had it cleaned and returned to me by the date they gave me (just a few days). Excellent service.
