I felt I was re-living my childhood.
Ginormous collection of toys, anything you can think of and remember from your childhood they probably have it.nI wish it had a little more interactive displays for little kids. I understand that with vintage toys this isn't a possibility as kids break things, but while it held me and my husband's attention it did not do much to impress my 9 year old.nIt will certainly take you back in time to your childhood and the nostalgia is intense.nMy husband was a little disappointed in the model train display. It was a decent display but for a museum that specializes in toys I guess he expected a bigger, more extravagant display.nThe employees were all extremely personable and friendly and seem to genuinely take interest in where you're from and what brought you to visit them.
This place brought back many happy childhood memories. I must have seen every toy I have had as a child from Peaches and Cream Barbie, Cabbage Patch Kids, Strawberry Short Cake, McDonald's, books, and Marilyn Monroe dolls. We spent about 2 hours here. Sweet workers that were very hospitable.
A unique experience. Lots and lots of toys to see. You will see toys way before my time. Way back when. Your ticket gets you into another toy section and also to the bb gun museum. I liked this area more than the main toy museum. Kids will enjoy it!!
Not really intended for children.nnWhat a nostalgia trip. You may think, wow my kids would love to see all these toys. You may be right but these toys are collectors items. So many of them are 20 years old or more and your child will have no idea what they are. They of course have iconic toys, Batman, Superman, Spongebob and some others that are on tv for kids today but most displayed toys aren't popular among kids nowadays.nnThe 80's and 90's people though. You'll love going here. So many memories and old toys I'd had over the years. Toy cars, trucks and tractors. Disney, Nickelodeon and old Cartoon Network toys. Even a huge creepy doll collection ranging from porcelain to cloth, wood and ventriloquist dolls. They really aren't creepy just creep me out.nnIts worth the admission for this trip down memory lane.
