This museum is incrediy important to visit! We must learn from the evils of the past to keep them from happening again.nEvery time I have visited I have a very powerful experience. I always learn something new. I always see something I did not see before.nThe journey through the museum is powerful, painful and thankfully filled with triumph.nI was blessed to be able to hear a Survivor speak on one visit. It is something that I will never forget, and will treasure for all my days.nPlease use caution when bringing young children, as images are very graphic.
Ms. Diane Peach was our guide at 10:30am it's free both tour and museum. It is packed with information and had several amazing pictures and artifacts. It has a section that has some graphic content not necessarily for children but it is still worth seeing. It is kid friendly and has a lot of content. They are looking to renovate and expand in the near future and I can't wait to see what they are adding.
Like hopping in a time machine only to arrive and bear witness to one of this planets most chilling and gruesome events to ever happen.
An absolutely amazing experience. My husband and I have been interested in WWII and the Holocaust for a long time.nTour was fantastic, our guide (I cant recall her name but she was on the shorter side with blonde hair, I believe she was a teacher as I heard her refer to her students several times) was incredibly knowledgeable. Being able to ask her questions (which wasn't needed much, she explained everything thoroughly) and have a discussion with her was fabulous.nDefinitely go through the museum afterwards on your own and take the time to read as much as you can. Such a great learning experience.nThe security guards up front were very friendly and helpful. All of the staff were phenomenal.
Such a somber, heartbreaking, informative tour. We could not have asked for a better docent led tour than with Ryan (2/16/20). Thank you to all involved with the museum and learning center. Mr. Newman was wonderful as well.
