Thomas Sappington House Museum

The docents who were there were very willing to give a tour. They went over the history of the house and the Sappingtons who lived at the house. They mainly focused on what live was like back in the earlier half of the 1800s and were better versed on that than on the house. Still the tour was good.

Great place to eat, historic museum of a family of this area. Country store. All is near the Grant's Trail. Parking.

This is a completely charming historic house that has been very thoughtfully renovated to show how it was to live there long ago. The guides are fantastic. This is a real gem you could include in a lovely day out, with a nature trail and a restaurant and an historical library all in the same easy complex.

Beautiful home from the early 1800s. The tour was very well done and informative. The Barn restaurant, a library, and Grant's Trail are nearby.
