Nothing but great things to say about these guys. They have been very kind and prompt with helping us with a difficult experience we've had. They have also been excellent with communication as well. Have met several officers just on a daily walk or at the gas station and they all are very polite and brave individuals. We really appreciate all that you guys do for the citizens of Platte City and for making a difference in our lives personally. Platte City is lucky to have the finest officers! Thank you all!

As a downtown business owner, I have had to call the police four times for a range of things (a medical emergency, extra night patrol because of a disgruntled former employee, a power line down, a car accident) and in each case they were prompt and courteous. I have not have a negative interaction yet! They also shake door handles at night and have alerted me when a door was left unlocked by an employee. I appreciate their work.

Non existant for a week or two at a time then out of nowhere they're out harassing everyone on that single day. Never for a moment are their lights off.... I am very supportive of police officers accross the country but pd is heinous. So bad I'm leaving this town and NEVER coming back. It's Cops like these that give good cops a bad name.

These guys are scum, about the only bad thing about platte city. Get ready to get pulled over without an explanation and random ticket, which BTW they can't amend their mistake once it's written because it goes into the system. Whoops! Their mistake but now it’s up to the individual to make the footwork to fix it, forcing you to pay to avoid all the hassle unless you can really afford to miss time from work or other responsibilities. Turning in the money order was just as miserable, it felt like being robbed but being treated like you deserved to be robbed.nnAlso, the court is 180miles, 2hours and 45 minutes away. Enjoy the fun these scum have in store for you.
