It's the Waffle House. It is what it is. I go there because it's reasonably priced comfort food prepared quickly in most instances.nnThis was a busy morning at this particular location which was overtaxing their pandemic-limited seating. That in turn slowed down their food prep a bit. But I appreciated that they allowed me to sit at the counter next to a stranger when they had several parties waiting to be seated.nnThe staff, and it was better staffed than some, was still very efficient and friendly despite the volume that they were doing. While I was waiting for my order I read with interest about the system that the cooks use to keep track of what each plate is supposed to have. It's kind of fascinating and worth looking up if you find yourself in a similar situation.nnThis is the only one in town which makes it a popular destination for anyone who's a fan of the chain. There are plenty of other breakfast options, but I know what to expect at Waffle House, and this one delivered. The biscuits and gravy and hash browns (scattered) were consistent with others that I've eaten at. They have a good quality control in place.nnGood food, good price, and a well-trained staff. What else can you ask for? Recommended.
Great service, great food, clean restaurant!
I bet I've driven by a waffle house over 100 times and other then they never really looked like a place worth going to we decided to go to the one in Springfield Mo. since it was near our hotel. We were pleasantly surprised how clean and good the place was. the waffles were thinner than we are used to but were very good. We have gone beck and will probably return one more time before we return home.
This location is always really good. Staff is extremely friendly and there is never a long wait. Food is always hot and fresh.
