They have a barn that demonstrates how tobacco was dried, some animals such as cows and pigs, a period vegetable garden, and a preserved farm house.
This is a working plantation. It gives a little of the feel of southern Maryland society in the mid-17th century.nnThey grow tobacco, food crops, a vegetable garden, and raise small livestock, mostly using 17th century methods and materials.nnThe docent did a good job of presenting. Informational and well-organized.nnGreat place for children.nnA little costly.
