Ye Cool Springs

It very beautiful and reverent. There are butterflies and dragonflies, frogs, and birds. You can feel the calmness of the spring and how people who came here for their health must have felt. One small piece of advice; the parking is at the large brick building that has a police district flag. GPS will take you around the corner to the gates which are heavily covered by greenery. There is a sign pointing to the gates but no where to park. If you are not familiar, as I was not, it can be confusing and frustrating. Wear flip flops or old shoes. It is very marshy, with water randomly bubbling up in areas. Very pretty spot. Check out the Amish farmers market down the street.

Driven by the sign for years. Fun little stop and a beautiful park and trail to walk along. Park at yhe visitor center though, will be an easy walk.
