The Capital Wheel

How fabulous! I was in bed this past Saturday morning; sun beaming through my window, I decided it was time to get out and explore. I wasn’t sure what to do so I googled “fun things to do at the National Harbor”. I was taken to several sources that said the Capital Wheel was a must try and so I did. I purchased two tickets online which was about $15 per adult ticket. Definitely worth the price. We went in the evening when the sun was just ready to set- oh my how delightful the view was. It’s so peaceful sitting there in the sky and looking over the still waters. Even my boyfriend who’s had traumatic experiences with both water and heights was surprised at how smooth the Capital Wheel was. It was very romantic and peaceful. The “car” or whatever you call the sitting areas on the CW were clean, wiped down and air conditioned. They take their cleanliness seriously from what I’ve heard which makes me feel safer as a customer.nDefinitely would go again.nnPS: if you’re wondering whether or not you have to print the tickets that have been purchased online, YOU DO NOT. They’ve made it to where you can skip that sometimes intimidating ticket line and simply scan your QR code at the entrance of the Capital Wheel.

Been here 4 yrs ago and now leaving a post. I was on one of my solo day trips and I decided to hangout, walk around, and check out some cool places. The Capital Wheel and surrounding restaurants it was. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. The attended was nice, friendly, professional, and wonderful sense of humor. The ride on the Capital Wheel was great due to the gorgeous view of the boating pier and surrounding area. The time they give you for the ticket price is great. They have military and senior discount. You won’t be disappointed.

A must visit place if visiting DC. They offer military and senior discount. Views are majestic and something that shouldn't be missed. On weekends the queue can be long and during winter appropriate attire should be worn. Parking is available at a decent hourly rate.

Really cute place and the views are gorgeous. it's great for all ages and quick activity. I will say that I didn't buy the VIP package but 50 for that experience would'nt be worth it. At the night the wheel looks gorgeous but I preferred during the day because you got to see wonderful views.
